Common questions

Do I have to start with Discovery?

Yes, and for good reason. We've seen too many builds fail because the scope was wrong, not the engineering. Discovery is how we make sure the Build proposal we give you is one we can guarantee.

What does "fixed-price" actually mean?

It means the number in the proposal is the number on the invoice. If we scope something wrong, that's on us. We absorb scope surprises — you don't get a change order for every new complication we discover.

What stack do you build on?

We're model-agnostic and infrastructure-agnostic. We've shipped on OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models. We deploy to your existing cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or greenfield if needed. We don't lock you into our tooling.

How long does a typical Build take?

4–10 weeks from contract to production, depending on scope and integration complexity. We don't pad timelines. Most clients are surprised at how fast we move.

Is the Discovery fee applied to the Build?

Yes. If you proceed to a Build engagement, the $4,500 Discovery fee is credited against your Build invoice in full.
